(January 17, 2012: Plainville, KS 67663) The Norton Bluejays basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Plainville Cardinals to 30 in the Bluejays league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bluejays now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trego for a Mid-Continent contest on Friday, January 20. Norton will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 59-41 league win over Ellis (Ellis, KS). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
The Cardinals (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Smith Center (Smith Center, KS). The Redmen enter the Mid-Continent contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Smith Center ran past Hill City (Hill City, KS), 68-36, in a non-league contest.
