Illinois High School Baseball - Romeoville nudged by Oswego
(April 14, 2011: Oswego, IL 60543) The Oswego Panthers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Romeoville Spartans to 12 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now hold a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kaneland for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 16. Oswego will face a Knights team coming off a 10-6 league win over Rochelle (Rochelle, IL). The Knights record now stands at 7-4.
Next, the Spartans face the Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 15. Romeoville will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Argonauts enter the bout with a 7-1 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL).
