Arizona High School Basketball - Sahuarita tipped by Desert Ridge

(December 27, 2011: Mesa, AZ 85212) The Desert Ridge Jaguars basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Sahuarita Mustangs to 38 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ironwood Ridge for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Desert Ridge will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 40-24 non-league loss to Cienega (Vail, AZ). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-6.

The Mustangs (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cienega (Vail, AZ). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Cienega nudged Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ), 40-24, in a non-league contest.
