Illinois High School Basketball - Glenwood crushes Lanphier
(February 2, 2012: Springfield, IL 62702) Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL), 66-35 in a league bout.
With the win, Glenwood upgrades its record to 13-10 on the season. The Titans travel to Southeast (Springfield, IL) to play the Spartans in a Central State Eight bout on Thursday, February 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 19-6. Southeast won 81-39 in their recent league bout against Taylorville (Taylorville, IL)
Next up, the Lions play the Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) in a Central State Eight bout, on Thursday, February 9. Lanphier will attempt to upgrade on its 7-18 season record. The Crimsons go into the bout with a 12-19 record after their 99-48 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, IL).
