Virginia High School Softball - Lee-Davis bounces Grassfield
(June 10, 2011: Chesapeake, VA 23323) The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Lee-Davis Confederates (Mechanicsville, VA) and the host Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA), saw Lee-Davis's softball squad nip Grassfield by a count of 7-1.
The Confederates now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Battlefield for a non-league test on Saturday, June 11. Lee-Davis will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 25-1.
