New Jersey High School Basketball - Tech trounced by Dayton Regional

(January 24, 2006: Springfield, NJ 07081) The Tech Panthers basketball team (Newark, NJ), was trounced 71-36 in Tuesday's league game with the host Dayton Regional Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ)

The Bulldogs (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Manville (Manville, NJ). The Mustangs enter the Mountain Valley- Sky game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Manville trounced Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ), 72-52, in a non-league game.

Next up, the Panthers meet the Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 27. Tech will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 4-9 record after their 58-50 non-league win over Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ).
