Texas High School Basketball - North Shore can't hold off Fort Bend Hightower

(December 6, 2011: Missouri City, TX 77459) The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting North Shore Mustangs to 49 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Langham Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Fort Bend Hightower will meet a Lobos team coming off a 31-24 non-league loss to Klein (Klein, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 4-9.

The Mustangs (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Cypress Falls was nudged by Dekaney (Houston, TX), 71-62, in a non-league contest.
