(October 26, 2007: Mulberry, FL 33860) In Friday's league game, the Mulberry Panthers (Mulberry, FL) football team were victorious over the visiting St. Petersburg Catholic Barons (St. Petersburg, FL), by a score of 41-21.

The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Lennard (Ruskin, FL). The come into the 2A District 5 game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Lennard was knocked off by Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL), 10-0, in a league game.

The Barons now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Placid for a 2A District 5 game on Friday, November 2. St. Petersburg Catholic will meet a Dragons team coming off a 31-0 league loss to Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL). The Dragons record now stands at 2-6.
