(January 10, 2012: Rancho Mirage, CA 92270) The Marywood-Palm Valley Firebirds basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Calvary Chapel Lions to 10 in the Firebirds league victory on Tuesday.

The Firebirds now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Temecula Prep for a Majestic contest on Thursday, January 12. Marywood-Palm Valley will meet a Patriots team coming off a 43-20 league win over Packinghouse Christian Academy (Redlands, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-7.
