(August 31, 2007: Frankfort, KY 40601) The Western Hills Wolverines football team (Frankfort, KY), was beaten 35-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY)

The Braves (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY). The Bearcats come into the 5A District 4 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Anderson County achieved victory over West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 58-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 7. Western Hills will meet a Flyers team coming off a 28-12 non-league loss to Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Flyers record now stands at 1-1.
