Florida High School Football - King's Academy drops to Glades Day
(October 30, 2009: Belle Glade, FL 33430) In Friday's non-league game, the Glades Day Gators (Belle Glade, FL) football team knocked off the visiting King's Academy Lions (West Palm Beach, FL), by a final score of 37-19.
The Gators (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Zion Lutheran (Deerfield Beach, FL). The Lions come into the 1B District 7 game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Zion Lutheran was dropped by Jupiter Christian (Jupiter, FL), 67-8, in a league game.
The Lions now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Westminster Academy for a 1A District 7 game on Friday, November 6. King's Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 60-13 league loss to Pope John Paul II (Boca Raton, FL). The Lions record now stands at 0-8.
