Florida High School Basketball - Countryside falls to St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg Green Devils basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting
Countryside Cougars to 64 in the Green Devils league triumph on Thursday.
The Green Devils now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to
East Lake for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 15.
St. Petersburg will meet a Eagles team coming off a
52-49 league win over
Dunedin (Dunedin, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.
The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against
Gaither (Tampa, FL). The Cowboys enter the
6A District 7 match with a 1-12 record. In their last match,
Gaither was outscored by
Sickles (Tampa, FL),
65-17, in a league match.
