(January 27, 2012: Grand Rapids, MI 49534) The Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI) basketball felled the visiting Western Michigan Christian Warriors (Muskegon, MI), 52-41 in Friday's league test.

The Chargers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Muskegon Catholic Central (Muskegon, MI). The Crusaders go into the River Valley test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Muskegon Catholic Central went down by Tri-Unity Christian (Wyoming, MI), 61-31, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Muskegon Heights for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Western Michigan Christian will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 71-68 non-league loss to Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
