Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Notre Dame Catholic held off by Glastonbury
(February 18, 2012: Glastonbury, CT 06033) In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Glastonbury Tomahawks (Glastonbury, CT) ice hockey team nudged the visiting Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT), by a margin of 6-5.
The Tomahawks now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgefield for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. Glastonbury will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 9-1 league win over Norwalk/McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 17-2.
The Lancers (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame (West Haven, CT). The Green Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 14-3 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame tipped North Haven (North Haven, CT), 5-2, in a league challenge.
