Arizona High School Basketball - South Mountain prevails Seton Catholic

(January 13, 2012: Chandler, AZ 85032) South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ), 59-47 in a league bout.

With the win, South Mountain upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ) to encounter the Titans in a II Section III bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Arcadia lost 70-67 in their recent league game against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ)

With the defeat, Seton Catholic moves to 6-17 on the year. The Sentinels travel to Tempe (Tempe, AZ) to face the Buffaloes in a II Section III game on Tuesday, January 17. The Buffaloes enter the game with a record of 15-5. Tempe won 65-48 in their recent league game against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)
