New Mexico High School Basketball - Texico edges Farwell
(December 2, 2011: Texico, NM 88135) The Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX), 36-31 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record.
The Steers now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tulia for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Farwell will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 7-2.
