(January 9, 2009: Alexandria Bay, NY 13607) The Clinton Warriors ice hockey squad scored 7 points and restricted the host Alexandria Central Purple Ghosts to 3 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Clinton moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign.
The Purple Ghosts now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Norwood-Norfolk for a Division II contest on Saturday, January 10. Alexandria Central will battle a Flyers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY). The Flyers record now stands at 5-6.
