Florida High School Basketball - Geneva overwhelmed by Orlando Lutheran Academy

(December 12, 2008: Orlando, FL 32825) The Orlando Lutheran Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Geneva Knights to 39 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they host The Villages Charter for a non-league contest on Monday, December 15. Orlando Lutheran Academy will meet a Buffalo team coming off a 77-51 league loss to Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL). The Buffalo record now stands at 2-7.

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lighthouse Christian (DeLand, FL). The Crusaders come into the 1A District 5 contest with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Lighthouse Christian was crushed by Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL), 75-54, in a non-league bout.
