Oregon High School Basketball - West Linn can't hold off Barlow
(December 30, 2011: Gresham, OR 97080) The Barlow Bruins basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting West Linn Lions to 62 in the Bruins non-league victory on Friday.
The Bruins now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Barlow will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 82-59 non-league loss to Silverton (Silverton, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.
The Lions (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sunset (Portland, OR). The Apollos come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Sunset edged Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OR), 50-46, in a non-league contest.
