Texas High School Basketball - Steele thwarts Seguin
(December 16, 2008: Cibolo, TX 78108) The
Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) basketball felled the visiting
Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX),
76-57 in Tuesday's league test.
The Knights (12-5) will now prepare for their test against
Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX). The Mules go into the
4A Region IV District 27 test with a 3-5 record.
The Matadors now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Navarro for a non-league test on Friday, December 19.
Seguin will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a
51-48 non-league loss to
Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.
