Roane County Raiders (Spencer, WV) basketball nipped the visiting
Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV),
47-45 in Friday's league test.
The Raiders (4-2) will now prepare for their test against
South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV). The Hawks go into the
Little Kanawha test with a 0-6 record. In their last test,
South Harrison was tipped by
Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV),
68-47, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host
Wahama for a non-league test on Thursday, January 10.
Calhoun will meet a Falcons team coming off a
81-74 non-league win over
Eastern (Reedsville, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 6-1.
