(September 16, 2009: Avon, NY 14414) In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Avon Braves volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles.

The Braves (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY). The Raiders come into the Section 5 Livingston County II battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Caledonia-Mumford achieved victory over Haverling (Bath, NY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
