Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bald Eagle Area falls to Bishop McCort

(February 4, 2012: Wingate, PA 16823) The Bishop McCort Crushers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles to 45 in the Crushers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Crushers now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Philipsburg-Osceola for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Bishop McCort will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 64-25 league loss to Central (Martinsburg, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-15.

The Bald Eagles (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Juniata (Mifflintown, PA). The Indians enter the Mountain - Nittany contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Juniata ran past Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA), 56-31, in a league contest.
