Florida High School Volleyball - Westminster Academy over King's Academy

(September 5, 2008: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308) The Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL) volleyball overcame the visiting King's Academy Lions (West Palm Beach, FL), 3-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Westminster Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL) to clash with the Eagles in a 2A District 14 battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 2-0. Calvary Christian Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Somerset (Pembroke Pines, FL)

Next, the Lions clash with the Summit Christian Saints (West Palm Beach, FL) in a 2A District 13 battle, on Monday, September 8. King's Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Saints come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 league win over St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL).
