(September 26, 2009: Colorado Springs, CO 80911) Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Widefield Gladiators (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Falcon Falcons (Falcon, CO), witnessed Widefield's softball squad tip Falcon by a count of 5-4.

The Gladiators now sport a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mesa Ridge for a 4A CS Metro match on Tuesday, September 29. Widefield will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 10-3.
