Texas High School Basketball - Heritage fells Grapevine

(December 13, 2011: Colleyville, TX 76034) Heritage Panthers (Colleyville, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX), 40-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Heritage upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Trinity (Euless, TX) to play the Trojans in a 5A Region I District 6 bout on Friday, December 16. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Trinity won 69-11 in their recent league bout against Irving (Irving, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Bell Raiders (Hurst, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 bout, on Friday, December 16. Grapevine will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 68-20 league win over Nimitz (Irving, TX).
