Washington High School Football - Issaquah drops to Bellevue
(September 14, 2007: Bellevue, WA 98004) In Friday's league game, the Bellevue Wolverines (Bellevue, WA) football team knocked off the visiting Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA), by a final score of 34-13.
The Wolverines (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Liberty (Renton, WA). The Patriots come into the 3A KingCo game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Liberty toppled Sammamish (Bellevue, WA), 55-13, in a league game.
The Eagles now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league game on Thursday, September 20. Issaquah will battle a Roughriders team coming off a 56-13 league loss to Bothell (Bothell, WA). The Roughriders record now stands at 1-2.
