Texas High School Basketball - Washington trounces Austin
(January 11, 2008: Houston, TX 77018) The
Washington Eagles (Houston, TX) basketball crushed the visiting
Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX),
105-44 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (6-14) will now prepare for their test against
Reagan (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs go into the
4A Region III District 20 test with a 11-9 record. In their last test,
Reagan was trounced by
Sharpstown (Houston, TX),
71-67, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 2-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Kempner for a non-league test on Saturday, January 12.
Austin will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a
64-54 league loss to
Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 10-13.
