(January 28, 2012: Wilcox, NE 68982) The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Axtell Wildcats to 36 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Overton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Wilcox-Hildreth will meet a Eagles team coming off a 54-41 non-league win over Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 12-2.

The Wildcats (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elwood (Elwood, NE). The Pirates come into the D1 District 10 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Elwood beat Eustis-Farnam (Eustis, NE), 93-51, in a non-league contest.
