(August 26, 2011: Arab, AL 35016) In Friday's non-league game, the Arab Knights (Arab, AL) football team smashed the visiting Brewer Patriots (Somerville, AL), by a final score of 48-6.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL). The Wildcats go into the 5A Region 7 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Scottsboro was routed by Huntsville (Huntsville, AL), 48-10, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Patriots play the Hartselle Tigers (Hartselle, AL) in a 5A Region 6 contest, on Friday, September 2. Brewer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 23-0 non-league win over Athens (Athens, AL).
