Oregon High School Basketball - Southridge nudges Beaverton

(January 31, 2012: Beaverton, OR 97008) Southridge Skyhawks (Beaverton, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, OR), 43-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Southridge upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Skyhawks travel to Aloha (Beaverton, OR) to encounter the Warriors in a 6A Metro bout on Friday, February 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Aloha lost 57-54 in their recent league bout against Sunset (Portland, OR)

Next up, the Beavers encounter the Jesuit Crusaders (Portland, OR) in a 6A Metro bout, on Friday, February 3. Beaverton will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 53-41 league win over Westview (Portland, OR).
