Texas High School Basketball - Anton ripped by Olton
(December 6, 2011: Olton, TX 79064) The Olton Mustangs basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Anton Bulldogs to 18 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smyer for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Olton will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 38-33 non-league win over Crosbyton (Crosbyton, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.
The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Dimmitt trounced Vega (Vega, TX), 40-37, in a non-league contest.
