(February 8, 2012: Sedalia, MO 65301) In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) basketball squad knocked off the host Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO), by a margin of 56-46.

The Crusaders (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hickman (Columbia, MO). The Kewpies go into the Freelance bout with a 9-10 record. In their last bout, Hickman toppled Jefferson City (Jefferson City, MO), 85-59, in a league bout.

Next up, the Tigers play the Center Yellowjackets (Kansas City, MO) in a West Central bout, on Friday, February 10. Smith-Cotton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 76-60 league win over Clinton (Clinton, MO).
