West Virginia High School Basketball - Nicholas County overwhelmed by Oak Hill
(February 7, 2012: Oak Hill, WV 25901) The Nicholas County Grizzlies basketball team (Summersville, WV), was overwhelmed 69-41 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV)
The Red Devils (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots go into the Coalfield AA outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, Independence was trounced by WestSide (Clear Fork, WV), 85-81, in a league outing.
The Grizzlies now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Midland Trail for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 9. Nicholas County will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 76-74 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 14-4.
