Game Summary

New York High School Football - Jay routs Arlington

(October 14, 2006: Cross River, NY 10536) Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Jay Indians (Cross River, NY) and the visiting Arlington Admirals (LaGrangeville, NY), saw Jay's football team rout Arlington by a tally of 47-10.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Yorktown Heights (Yorktown Heights, NY). The Huskers go into the Section 1 AA - North test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Yorktown Heights was overwhelmed by Ketcham (Wappingers Falls, NY), 41-7, in a league test.

Next, the Admirals clash with the Poughkeepsie Pioneers (Poughkeepsie, NY) in a Section 1 AA - North test, on Friday, October 20. Arlington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 24-18 league win over Mahopac (Mahopac, NY).
