California High School Softball - Torrance bounces Centennial
(May 6, 2011: Torrance, CA 90503) The Torrance Tartars (Torrance, CA) softball routed the visiting Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA), 17-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Tartars (14-10) will now prepare for their bout against West (Torrance, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 8-13 record. In their last bout, West was routed by Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA), 8-1, in a league bout.
The Apaches now possess a 0-8 record. They play next when they host South for a Pioneer bout on Tuesday, May 10. Centennial will play a Spartans team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Marymount (Los Angeles, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 17-9.
