(September 30, 2011: Bossier City, LA 71111) In Friday's non-league game, the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) football team knocked off the host Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA), by a final score of 41-14.
The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Bastrop (Bastrop, LA). The Rams come into the 4A District 2 game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Bastrop was dropped by Rayville (Rayville, LA), 34-32, in a non-league game.
The Vikings now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Captain Shreve for a 5A District 1 game on Friday, October 7. Airline will battle a Gators team coming off a 25-24 non-league win over Woodlawn (Shreveport, LA). The Gators record now stands at 3-2.
