Oregon High School Basketball - Reedsport can't hold off Coquille

(January 6, 2012: Reedsport, OR 97467) The Coquille Red Devils basketball team scored 32 points and restricted the host Reedsport Braves to 31 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Glide for a 3A Sunset contest on Tuesday, January 10. Coquille will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 41-31 league loss to Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-6.

The Braves (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR). The Panthers come into the 2A Special District 1 contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Gold Beach edged Bandon (Bandon, OR), 43-26, in a non-league contest.
