South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting
Wellston Golden Rockets (Wellston, OH),
77-42 in a non-league bout.
The Pointers now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Wayne for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 15.
South Point will play a Pioneers squad coming off a
101-52 league loss to
Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-1.
Next up, the Golden Rockets play the
Nelsonville-York Buckeyes (Nelsonville, OH) in a
Tri-Valley I bout, on Thursday, December 13.
Wellston will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
