Pennsylvania High School Football - Academy Park topped by Chester

(September 27, 2008: Sharon Hill, PA 19079) The Academy Park Knights football team (Sharon Hill, PA), was beaten 29-14 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Chester Clippers (Chester, PA)

The Clippers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Interboro (Prospect Park, PA). The Buccaneers come into the Delaware Valley challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Interboro achieved victory over Oxford (Oxford, PA), 34-18, in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Penn Wood for a Delaware Valley challenge on Friday, October 3. Academy Park will meet a Patriots team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-3.
