With the victory, Martins Mill improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Whitehouse won 57-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Henderson (Henderson, TX)

Next up, the Buckeyes battle the Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Gilmer will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 49-45 non-league loss to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX).
