Kansas High School Basketball - Macksville can't hold off LaCrosse

(January 31, 2012: LaCrosse, KS 67548) The LaCrosse Leopards basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Macksville Mustangs to 43 in the Leopards league triumph on Tuesday.

The Leopards now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ness City for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. LaCrosse will meet a Eagles team coming off a 58-43 non-league loss to Hill City (Hill City, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.

The Mustangs (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Victoria (Victoria, KS). The Knights enter the Central Prairie contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Victoria nudged LaCrosse (LaCrosse, KS), 53-41, in a league contest.
