Kentucky High School Basketball - Graves County can't hold off Ballard Memorial
(January 27, 2012: Barlow, KY 42024) The Ballard Memorial Bombers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Graves County Eagles to 51 in the Bombers league triumph on Friday.
With the win, Ballard Memorial upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Bombers travel to Heath (West Paducah, KY) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 15-7.
Next up, the Eagles play the Lone Oak Purple Flash (Paducah, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Graves County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Purple Flash go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 52-39 non-league win over Fulton County (Hickman, KY).
