Alaska High School Basketball - Thunder Mountain can't hold off Ketchikan
(January 6, 2012: Juneau, AK ) The Ketchikan Kings basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Thunder Mountain Falcons to 48 in the Kings non-league triumph on Friday.
The Kings now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kodiak for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Ketchikan will meet a Bears team coming off a 60-52 non-league win over Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
The Falcons (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Mt. Edgecumbe nudged Homer (Homer, AK), 62-30, in a non-league contest.
