Washington High School Basketball - Port Townsend trounces Olympic
(February 6, 2009: Port Townsend, WA 98368) The Port Townsend Redskins (Port Townsend, WA) basketball crushed the visiting Olympic Trojans (Bremerton, WA), 65-42 in Friday's league test.
The Redskins (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Klahowya (Silverdale, WA). The Eagles go into the 2A/3A Olympic test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Klahowya was trounced by Bremerton (Bremerton, WA), 79-57, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kingston for a 2A/3A Olympic test on Tuesday, February 10. Olympic will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 50-34 league loss to North Mason (Belfair, WA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-16.
