Arizona High School Football - Mesquite overwhelms Dobson

(September 30, 2011: Gilbert, AZ 85233) The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Dobson Mustangs (Mesa, AZ), observed Mesquite's football squad bounce Dobson by a count of 56-20.

The Wildcats now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 6. Mesquite will encounter a Firebirds squad coming off a 59-7 league win over Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Chandler Wolves (Chandler, AZ) in a I Section II contest, on Thursday, October 6. Dobson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 28-21 league loss to Hamilton (Chandler, AZ).
