Maryland High School Basketball - Coppin Academy falls to Takoma Academy
(February 2, 2012: Takoma Park, MD 20912) The Takoma Academy Tigers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Coppin Academy to 52 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Model School for the Deaf for a Maryland Independent contest on Thursday, February 9. Takoma Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 70-33 non-league loss to Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 5-13.
The (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton Day Academy (Lanham, MD). The enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record.
