Texas High School Basketball - Vandegrift falls to Austin LBJ

(December 27, 2011: Austin, TX 78724) The Austin LBJ Jaguars basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Vandegrift Vipers to 50 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hutto for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Austin LBJ will meet a Hippos team coming off a 57-37 non-league loss to Killeen (Killeen, TX). The Hippos record now stands at 10-11.

The Vipers (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Moody (Corpus Christi, TX). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Moody was defeated by McNeil (Austin, TX), 72-45, in a non-league contest.
