California High School Basketball - Palm Desert can't hold off Indio
(January 23, 2012: Indio, CA 92201) The Indio Rajahs basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Palm Desert Aztecs to 59 in the Rajahs league triumph on Monday.
The Rajahs now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palm Springs for a Desert Valley contest on Wednesday, January 25. Indio will meet a Indians team coming off a 70-46 league win over La Quinta (La Quinta, CA). The Indians record now stands at 13-6.
The Aztecs (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA). The Arabs enter the Desert Valley contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Coachella Valley was nudged by Indio (Indio, CA), 67-47, in a league contest.
