Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL) basketball nipped the visiting
Freedom Patriots (Tampa, FL),
50-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (12-8) will now prepare for their test against
King (Tampa, FL). The Lions go into the
5A District 8 test with a 14-6 record. In their last test,
King got by
Bloomingdale (Valrico, FL),
58-50, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 3-17 record. They take the field next when they host
Armwood for a
5A District 8 test on Friday, January 30.
Freedom will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a
61-52 league loss to
Newsome (Lithia, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 7-11.
